WBZ News | CBS News Boston@wbztv Frugal Fannie’s, a warehouse women’s clothing store known for its bargains, is closing its Westwood, Massachusetts, location after 43 years. A going-out-of-business liquidation sale will start Thursday at the store just off Route 1. Co-owners Kathleen “Fannie” Doxer and Orrin Doxer said they decided to close due to a number of factors including an expiring lease, staff retirements and health considerations. Filenes basement go to store on my lunch hour at 100 Summer Street. Lockobers and Durgin Park for lunch and Dinner. The Olympic on Stuart Street for Greek lamb shish ka bob

@lalee09 My mom would drag me to frugal fannies on the regular as a child, and I think that’s where I first really appreciated how women’s bodies and undergarments came in all different shapes and sizes. You just can’t find a room full of middle-aged women getting half naked in an open dressing room anymore. Sad to hear this institution is closing!
