About PicMany

What you can see here

• Public profiles: the name, bio and links, follower and post counts, recent posts, and related accounts.
• Posts and reels: the photo or video, its caption and date, like and comment counts where Instagram shows them, and a preview of the comments.
• Stories and highlights of public accounts, loaded when you open those tabs on a profile.
• Discovery: popular topics, popular reels, and a directory of places by country and city with the posts tagged there.

What PicMany is not

• Not Instagram. PicMany is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta.
• Read-only. You cannot post, like, comment, follow or send messages here, and PicMany never asks for your Instagram password or any other login.
• Public content only. PicMany shows what Instagram shows to anyone who is not logged in. It cannot show the posts, reels, stories or followers of a private account: a private account appears only with the name, picture, bio and counts that Instagram itself shows publicly.
• Not an archive. PicMany does not keep old copies of posts. When a post or an account is deleted on Instagram, it disappears here too, normally within about an hour. When an account is made private, its posts, reels and stories disappear the same way, and only the name, picture, bio and counts that Instagram shows publicly remain.

How it works

When you open a page, the PicMany server fetches the public information for it from Instagram, the same information Instagram shows a visitor who is not logged in, and builds the page from it. The result is kept for a short time, usually up to an hour, so the next visitor gets it at once and Instagram is asked as rarely as possible. That is also why a count here can be up to an hour behind Instagram, and occasionally more when Instagram is slow to answer.

Photos and videos are loaded by your browser directly from Instagram's servers, with the few exceptions listed in the Privacy Policy. Stories and highlights are fetched separately when you open them, so they can take a few seconds to appear.

PicMany has no accounts, sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what is processed, and the Terms of Service cover how the site may be used.

If your profile is here

PicMany shows only what your public Instagram profile already shows to everyone, and its pages can appear in search results for your name. If you would rather your profile did not appear here at all, we will remove it: Remove a profile explains how. Making your account private also hides your posts here, as it does everywhere else.
