Lini Leon

Leni Lynn, born Angelica Ciofani, was an American actress and contralto singer active in the late 1930s and 1940s. She signed with MGM in 1938 after gaining local support in Passaic, New Jersey, and appeared in films including Babes in Arms and Hullabaloo. She also performed under the name Leni Hoffer later in life.

Lynn died on January 1, 2010, in Croton-on-Hudson, New York, at age 86 from complications of a stroke. Her career spanned film and music during Hollywood’s Golden Age. She was married four times, with her final husband being composer Bernard Hoffer.
