Aleigha Botner

Alleigha Botner is the former mistress of ex-American Idol contestant Caleb Flynn, who testified against him in his September 2026 murder trial in Miami County for the killing of his wife Ashley Flynn. Botner, 24, described an 18-month affair and read court messages where Flynn allegedly discussed killing Ashley, including a text stating he was "thinking of ways to kill her and not going to jail".

Botner met Flynn in 2022 as a church intern at Christian Life Center in Dayton, Ohio, while he worked as a music pastor. She admitted lying to the FBI about the affair out of fear for her reputation but later confessed after agents found texts on Ashley’s phone. Prosecutors presented over 100,000 messages and AI-composed love songs as evidence of the relationship.
