@reddaisi Our HOA is useless. With the new laws passed against HOAs they can’t enforce payment etc meanwhile sympathetic members give a pass to homes maintenance saying they can’t afford like the rest of us write letters with no enforcement
@jrich0085 I used to live in a covenant controlled neighborhood where the HOA president happened to be the chair person of the local Democratic party. Our bylaws forbade political signs (which I'm fine with cuz they're nothing but clutter and waste). However, his four Biden signs in 2020 seemed to get a pass while other residents mentioned getting citations for their signs.
@tijuas1939 i live in Georgia, in the Picket Fences community in Rincon. The HOA was worthless like most, we voted them out.

@catherinewhelchel Biggest violators in my community are the Board members that have stacked the board for 8 plus years, for the second time, spent all our money with little to show, doubled our dues and assessments because of supposedly inadequate reserves, yet in 4 years have not increased those reserves, landscape has gone downhill but has a doubled budget, entire property looks like a housing project, but they don’t want the owners using a battery powered blower to tidy up, did a reserve study completely leaving out 11 townhomes that contribute more funds (just pretending they don’t have to do that maintenance). They changed rules and regulations to accommodate the rules they were breaking. Funny that they have kept control from us, when the Community needs protecting from them. In one takeover of a a quorum of bad members your property can be destroyed. Most owners, especially beware apathetic and think they live in. A Boutique Hotel that others care for and they just write a check

@liz.dyer.5 Check out Gold River, Ca. I got a violation for having small American flags in my yard past July 5th. Funny thing is these “holiday flags “ were removed 5 days before the citation.
