UPDATE | 🇬🇧 68-Year-Old Arrested After Bow and Arrow Incident in Skelmanthorpe A 68-year-old man was arrested after police received reports of a man acting erratically and firing a bow and arrow at passing vehicles in Skelmanthorpe, West Yorkshire, on Tuesday, September 22. Police were called to Huddersfield Road at around 5:37pm after reports that the man had been driving dangerously and throwing rubbish and household items from a car. Further reports said he had left the vehicle and was firing the bow and arrow in the street and towards passing vehicles. Members of the public restrained the man before officers arrived, and he was arrested at around 5:58pm. No one was injured, although several vehicles were damaged. Police later confirmed that the man had been detained under the Mental Health Act and taken to hospital for assessment and treatment. #UK #Skelmanthorpe #WestYorkshire #BreakingNews #WorldNews
