UPDATE | 🇺🇸 Florida Plastic Surgeon Convicted After Extraordinary Courtroom Demonstration Request Tomasz Kosowski, 47, who represented himself during his first-degree murder trial, made an unusual request in court on September 22 as he challenged prosecutors’ account of what happened to attorney Steven Cozzi, 41, who disappeared from his Largo law office in March 2023. Kosowski asked for a physical demonstration involving a Gorilla Cart and a person weighing roughly 190–195 pounds, arguing that prosecutors should demonstrate how their theory of moving Cozzi’s body into his vehicle was physically possible. The judge declined the proposed demonstration. Cozzi’s remains have never been recovered. The following day, September 23, Judge Joseph Bulone found Kosowski guilty of first-degree murder.
