An Indianapolis woman is facing multiple charges after police say a road-rage dispute escalated into her allegedly forcing her way onto a school bus while armed with a handgun with 37 kids on board. ________ Police say Jamiya Sutton, 19, became angry on Sept. 16 after a school bus pulled out in front of her, causing her to hit a construction sign. Investigators say Sutton followed the bus, eventually drove around it and deliberately blocked its path. The bus driver told police Sutton then got out with a black handgun, waved it around and demanded that the driver come outside. When the driver refused, Sutton allegedly forced open the bus door, boarded the bus with the gun and yelled at the driver before returning to her Kia. Officers later recovered a loaded gun with 21 live rounds beneath the driver’s seat. ________ Sutton was arrested and charged with criminal confinement with a deadly weapon, criminal confinement with a vehicle, pointing a firearm and unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle. What’s even crazier is that court records show Sutton had allegedly been arrested just five days earlier in another road rage case, where she was accused of pulling the same black handgun on a man she believed had cut her off in traffic.
