Actor-turned-politician Vijay, head of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), honored Indian Army braveheart and Kirti Chakra awardee Lance Naik A. Meenatchi Sundaram. Sundaram, a hero from the 34 Rashtriya Rifles who neutralized a terrorist in Jammu & Kashmir's Kulgam despite sustaining severe gunshot injuries to his face and shoulder, was presented with a state grant cheque of ₹48 lakh as a token of gratitude for his immense valor.
