@isbutterracarb IMO, Elaine doesn’t need to have or want kids, or a person by her side to have significance or a significant story. (Not saying you said this, just my opinion) But a point I think people forget is that, Feyre wasn’t able to have Illyrian children, but Nesta changed that. For Feyre and Rhys, but I also believe for her and Cassian - based solely on what she and the Cauldron said in ACOSF. Now do I believe Nesta would change Elaine without her consent? NO. But Nesta knows how and can, if Elaine ever chooses. So the possibility of an Illyrian child for Elaine is not impossible. For anyone who may think it is. Also Nesta’s love for Elaine is unmatched. I strongly believe that Nesta would go above and beyond for Elaine if the situation were to present itself. Also - in ACOWAR Rhys told Feyre that if Elaine chooses to deny the bond with Lucien they would have her back. They would defend her. So everyone saying Rhys would be mad at Azriel. Possibility and bonus chapters show/suggest it. But I believe if Elaine were to deny the bond before anyone other than Rhys found out about (possibility) of Az and Elaine - they would choose to stand by Elaine’s choice. Does this mean there wint be tension? No lol it’s a book. But Feyre asks “why not them” in that same chapter/convo. Referring to Az & Elaine. Feyre loves her sisters. Yes, she’s a mom now, but her love for her sisters, family, Rhys, and Velaris are still there as well. Elaine’s choice is her own. Not Lucien, Rhys, Feyre, or anyone else’s. And whoever Elaine chooses or doesn’t, I just can’t wait to learn more about her, and see the strength beyond what we’ve seen so far. (And my mention of Az + Elaine - I would be happy to see the three sisters and three brothers family unit. But at the end of the day, I have no care to argue or be upset over if Elaine chooses someone else. As an original reader who had to wait for each book to come out, year after year. Waiting. I’m just excited to see how the story plays out. What SJM has in store for us - especially with CC TOG being intertwined and us possibly finally getting all of it in one book)

@lifeinthe_casslane Nesta has the knowledge and power to change Elain’s body in the future if Elain so chooses, but the idea that she already has in secret is crazy to me because why would she? Elain is not with an Illyrian currently, so why would her body need to be changed? I’m Team Elucien and Team Gwynriel, but to say that Elain’s body not being changed is the reason she won’t or will end up with Az is crazy lmao
@onnies_bookjournal Actually!!!!!! If you catch sjm's wording.... when Nesta changed herself... she said "so NONE of us have to go through that again"... I think that was very clever wording on sjm's part. I believe whole heartedly that Nesta would absolutely protect Elain from something like this just in case.
@lovelyfawnxx the biggest irony being that no amount of pliable bones would help gwyn have his babies either, so by this logic the only person he can be with is another illyrian 😭 so not only is it grossly misogynistic to both elain and gwyn, it’s also just factually incorrect
