The Galaxy were trailing 3–1 when Zlatan entered the match in the 71st minute, but he quickly changed the game. Just minutes later, he scored a spectacular long-range volley from around 40 yards, leveling the match at 3–3. Zlatan wasn’t finished, though. In stoppage time, he headed in an Ashley Cole cross to complete a dramatic 4–3 comeback for the Galaxy. His two goals on debut immediately made the match one of the most memorable moments of his MLS career, and his confident celebration perfectly matched the enormous expectations surrounding his arrival in Los Angeles.
