@maureenjackson6627 I organized a high tea event at the Cape Arid tea room. Regrettably, my initial experience was somewhat lacking in refinement, particularly concerning the service provided by a staff member assigned to our table of eight guests, who, in my opinion, did not exhibit the expected qualities of a gracious and amiable server. Additionally, I, due to my eagerness and hunger, inadvertently demonstrated a lack of decorum by taking a sandwich directly from the serving plate. I do not intend to repeat this experience at the Cape Arid Tea Room. It is my hope that, as patrons of high tea, we may receive the level of decorum that such an occasion warrants. Inelegance!
