Fish Pie Bites 🐟🥔 A simple way to serve fish to little ones, with all the comforting flavours of a classic fish pie in an easy little bite. These are made with salmon, peas, potato, cheddar and cream cheese, then coated in breadcrumbs and cooked until golden on the outside. Salmon provides protein and omega 3, which are important nutrients during weaning and support normal brain and eye development. Peas add fibre and vegetables too. They’re soft on the inside and easy for little hands to pick up. 👶🏼 Suitable from 7 months+ ❄️ Freezer friendly Makes 14 Ingredients 200g boneless salmon fillet, skinned A knob of butter 25g cooked peas 150g cold mashed potato 4 spring onions, chopped 35g cheddar, grated 2 tsp fresh dill, chopped 25g cream cheese 40g panko breadcrumbs Sunflower oil, for frying or brushing Method Place the salmon in a heatproof bowl, add the butter and cover with baking parchment. Cook for 4 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through. Allow to cool. Flake the salmon into a mixing bowl and add the peas, mashed potato, spring onions, cheddar, dill, cream cheese and half the breadcrumbs. Mix well. Shape the mixture into 14 balls. Roll each one in the remaining breadcrumbs until coated. Heat a little oil in a frying pan and cook over a medium heat for 5–6 minutes, turning regularly, until golden. To freeze, place the cooled bites on a baking sheet lined with baking parchment and freeze for 2–3 hours until solid. Transfer to a freezer bag or container. Save this one for your next batch cook 🐟💛 This recipe is from my Finger Foods for Babies & Toddlers cookbook, which is packed with lots of simple finger food ideas like this one for little ones. @deepa.mistry.351 What can you use instead of cream cheese?

@deepanshu_singh.deepanshusingh My baby loves Fish 🐠 💕

@jandel2184 You've show them being cooked in an air fryer but the method says pan fry. Is the same time and temperature required for air frying as for pan frying?
