@wettyblanco.wip I was talking to my buddy about this. Walking into the first Crater was an unforgettableeee feeling. I remember for some reason I saw it before alot of my group and when I got back to camp I was like “whatever you think it’s going to be like, it’s 10x better.” I think we were so spoiled by that year it’s just hard to compete with. But hey they did their thing, tried something new, and it was nice to switch things up. I don’t think there was a single set I was in awe of from a design perspective this year but it had its pros. Day sets were less miserable from dust and overcrowding. No visual boards that took away from the lasers and reminded you that it was a man-made dream. Idk but I’m very interested in how he’ll top Prehistoric for year 10. I won’t be going but this was hands-down the most beautiful mainstage I’ve ever seen

@ls_lando OG crater was gnarly. Hope to see it get smaller again.
@____spartan117____ Last year after midnight the crater was blasting music at full volume and bass. I remember going from wompy to crater and instantly being like I'm not leaving 😂.

@alahnasmomma I agree i didnt enjoy it and u also liked that you could sit down outside the crater and still hear the music
@seth_l_weber The crater wasnt accessible to most of the people at the festival it was waaayy too small
@bkmc24 I will argue though, the path to the crater from the entrance was a god send in the mud. It def should go around though, and the crater should be smaller. They need to just not host huge artists or takeovers there.
@tngmusicc A big part of the expansion was the traffic jams because ppl didn't know how to navigate in the last couple years. Also I think maybe views would be different if it didn't end in a mud pit. VIP wasn't really it either but trial and error 💯
@austin3c6mpbell I agree they needed a laser shooting from all different directions not just from the towers in that takes away the whole crater aspect compared to now it looks like a layered cake

@coloradonightts I’m glad I got to see it when it was at bass canyon, it lived up to its expectation (I haven’t gone to lost lands)
@that_1_sage Naw crater was claustrophobic i hated being in there, this year it being opened up i was there more than any other year.
