Leaning forward. Behind the back. Somehow clean contact. Point still alive. 😳🎾 We have watched this multiple times trying to find the moment where it makes sense physically. We still cannot find it. The body position alone should make clean contact impossible — leaning forward while producing a behind the back save requires a level of flexibility, coordination and spatial awareness that the human body was not designed to combine in the same moment under match pressure. Tapia did it anyway. What in the scorpion was that. This is the save that has no conventional name yet. The between the legs has a name. The behind the back has a name. Whatever Tapia just did — leaning forward, racket going behind the back, somehow generating enough control to keep the point alive — is a completely new category that padel is going to need to invent terminology for. El Mozart producing something the sport has never seen before. Again. 😳 Padel is a sport that combines elements of tennis and squash, played on an enclosed court where the greatest saves redefine what the body is physically capable of producing under competitive pressure. Agustín Tapia leaning forward and producing a behind the back save with enough quality to keep the point alive is not something any conventional understanding of biomechanics would suggest is possible. And yet here we are. What in the scorpion was that. 😳 Follow @padelpulse_official for daily padel highlights, news and insane rallies 🎾 #padel #pádel
