Stuff@nzstuff From Cape Reinga to Bluff, and everywhere in between, a new version of the Monopoly New Zealand edition has been unveiled - but an Aussie token has sneaked its way back onto the board. Hundreds of Kiwis nominated the places they thought deserved a spot on the board, including the likes of Hobbiton, Ninety Mile Beach and Moeraki Boulders. Players can travel around the board using distinctly Kiwi-inspired tokens. But one of them, however, is a controversial pick: The Australian spread Vegemite makes it on the board, as opposed to New Zealand’s Marmite. The jar also featured in the old Monopoly: The Here & Now New Zealand Edition, which was released two decades ago. 🔗 Find out more via the link in our bio
