@ravibo My older ladies and rooster WILL NOT ROOST at night. No matter what we try…tired of putting on our head lamps on at night and abducting them. Got some new chicks that we can introduce to the flock soon. They’ve already been roosting at night. You think these old chickens will learn or will I have to abduct and move all of them at night? 🤣🤪 losing my mind…

@tkmom64 My girls (only 3 ATM) have chosen to sleep in their nesting boxes instead of their roosts. So, i have blocked them off with plywood, at night. Instead, they just sleep on the ground right by the boards. Then, I decided to go out and put them up on a roost after dark. A month of that later, i am giving up!

@breaking_bear @bandrhomestead You mean you trained your birds to lay eggs where they don't sleep?! Do you know how much cleaner your eggs are gonna be now?? OUTSTANDING!

@katie_benson2113 The marking harness on the ram! The one I didnt shear…… well I just can’t get it tight enough. He has slipped out every day! I guess just knowing there might be lambs from January 1st to February 15th…….
@joyinthemorning44 Chickens don't last that long. Just train the new ones into the better coop, and in about two years, the process will be complete!
