I had the honor of serving as a judge for Boston Fashion Week’s OPEN RUNWAY, and honestly… I left inspired. Self-taught designers. Student designers. Emerging creatives. People who are still learning, still building, still finding their voice , and yet they stepped onto that runway with vision, confidence, and something to say. I was in AWE. This is why platforms like @bostonfashionweek - OPEN RUNWAY matter. Because the next great designer doesn’t always come with a fashion degree, a big budget, or an industry connection. Sometimes they just need one opportunity. One room. One person willing to see the potential before everyone else does. As the founder of @bogosplit , creating opportunities for local creatives is deeply personal to me. I believe our cities become more vibrant when we invest in the people creating within them. Boston fashion is smart. Boston fashion is bold. Boston fashion is diverse. Boston fashion is HERE. And if we want Boston to continue becoming a fashion city, we have to do more than celebrate established names…We have to make room for the next ones.
