s4s@sticks4stones @BlackSabbath released TYR on August 20, 1990, during the Tony Martin era of the band. The album was recorded with Tony Iommi on guitar, Tony Martin on vocals, Neil Murray on bass, Cozy Powell on drums and Geoff Nicholls on keyboards. Named after the Norse god Tyr, the album incorporates Norse and mythological imagery across tracks including “Anno Mundi,” “The Battle of Tyr,” “Odin’s Court” and “Valhalla.” It was produced by Iommi and Powell and followed 1989’s Headless Cross. #BlackSabbath
