@joseph_defrange Hyperbole and the fish that keeps getting bigger is a useful rhetorical tool, but not helpful when it comes to pure epistemic analysis... Epistemic clarity probably won’t buzz in the media, but would optimize for peace of mind. Exaggeration may not be all the way true, but it garners an audience much better. A part of me wants to know what’s going on, and another part of me feels like it would be better to get a flip phone and sever myself from all algorithms that pull my attention!
