The first five stories did make me grimace a bit, but ultimately they gave me a good chuckle because they were so satirical and ludicrous. The last one maintains that same exaggeration and cheeky tone… and yet it’s eerily a near exact reflection of our reality today? @thedebslesstravelled Thanks for your recommendation I just read the story and it’s very scary for me. 😢 the last part was unexpected though was expecting the narrator to be otherwise. And some writers are already doing these!

@txsha1 I need to read this - I remember reading lamb to the slaughter the short story in school at maybe 14 and thought it was brilliant. Roald Dahl is underrated for adult short stories!
