@ianccummings Regarding your course, if it's online pre recorded video, why is there a deadline for signing up? What have I missed?
@scleake WOW - I shoot Fuji and Leica M film. Too bad you’re a ways away ir we team up. I’ve shot some in NYC, Seattle and places and only time I had a problem was in my rinky dink hometown.

@donna_shoots_people I agree with the point about positioning yourself where there’s gonna be concentrations of people. It’s something I often do going back to my days as a sales person in the street where I’d stand in a flow of people so I could stop people and talk to them about what I wanted to sell them. What we’re doing is looking for people who are interesting and different people who are an individual something quirky unusual maybe someone dressed in an exciting or different way so you can stop them and ask him for a portrait or even take a candid shot. For me like many I’m looking for decisive moments I’m looking for strong emotions or emotions that are out of place with the environment, someone reacting to something, emotions of surprise shock, elation, grief, anything where you capture humans being human. And when you see it shoot it, have your camera set up, don’t think just shoot, and worry about it later.
