@mattybstl So I just have to share this with someone. So I had a space in front of my dining room window and wanted to just throw something in the ground to keep the weeds at bay. Had some old Mexican Sunflower seeds. Two came up. One is taller than the house but hasn’t bloomed. The other tho has just been loaded with blooms. The butterfly’s and hummingbirds have gone crazy for it. But what’s been so very cool’s is that for a month now I’ve had a pair of Monarch butterflies that visit every day. It has been so neat to see. So much so that I’m planning to plant several along the fences in my backyard so that I can have a larger space to attract more… Never would have guessed that the pollinators and hummingbirds love Mexican Sunflowers!
