Sawasdee DC is back for its third year, and this time Pennsylvania Avenue gets rebuilt into a Thai street. Custom signage, cultural markers, the whole setup. 45 vendors are serving Thai street food all day in Penn Quarter. Pad thai, mango sticky rice, Thai iced tea, plus desserts and drinks you normally have to fly for. The main stage runs open to close with Thai pop artists and celebrity hosts, and Muay Thai champion Buakaw is headlining with a live demo.
