This Malaysia Day, @parkhyatt_kl welcomes Sharon De Souza of Nyonya Supper Club to Park Lounge for ‘A Baba Nyonya Story: Recipes of a Living Heritage’—a menu rooted in the recipes she grew up with, passed down through her mother and grandmother. Our favourites for the day have to be the Nasi Ulam, Daging Tulang Rusuk Kapitan, and Kuah Lada with golden snapper accompanied by Chinese doughnuts for mopping up every last bit of gravy. And to culminate, the Apom Bokwa with banana compote ate like a sweet dream along with a sago gula Melaka unlike any other. From grinding rempah by hand to seeking out the right ingredients, Sharon’s cooking is a reminder that a culinary tradition only stays alive when its recipes remain part of the table. This special menu is available for all-day dining at Park Lounge from today until 20 September 2026. #PalateAsia
