Someone else's progress can make you forget your own. Sometimes you don't feel behind... until you see someone else's life. Someone gets the job you wanted. Someone is making more money. Someone is travelling, getting married, or achieving something you thought you'd have by now. And suddenly, your own progress doesn't feel like progress anymore. Here's something to try the next time this happens: Ask yourself: “If I had never seen their life, would I still feel behind?” Then write down 3 things that are moving forward in your own life. They don't have to be huge. Maybe you're learning something. Maybe you're becoming more disciplined. Maybe you're handling things better than you used to. Your mind notices how far you still have to go. Don't forget to notice how far you've already come. The Bhagavad Gita teaches us to focus on our own actions rather than getting caught up in the results of others. Someone else's progress is not proof that you're failing. You're allowed to grow at your own pace. Save this for the next time someone else's life makes you question your own. 🤍 improvement, mental growth, emotional growth, life lessons, life advice, self awareness, inner growth, mindset, mindset shift, becoming better, better version of yourself, growth mindset, self discovery, understanding yourself, life perspective, wisdom, meaningful life #fypppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp #relatable #foryou #growth #overthinking
