@frenchmumwanderer I absolutely love the exageration! 11 000 virgins ??!! That's the number of inhabitant of a small modern city! No way that Saint Ursula could have travel with so many companions. It would have meant that the saint would have left a city while her very last companion would have just enter its doors. 😂

@joyfully_wicked Such gorgeous works of art. However- people are so weird and creepy!! They tortured people over supposed witchcraft and called people of other cultures barbarians or savages, yet they collected body parts from dead people. Also… sacrificial virgins?!?!? Yikes.
