@joel.sparrow.9 This is how often it works for a most jobs. A job will be created for a specific person. That person literally negotiates the role with the company. The role is undoubtedly theirs. Then the company out of an appearance of fairness will list the job for other internal and external candidates. They will run people through the whole interview process with zero intention of them ever getting the job. And they do this while claiming it's out of fairness
