Reel by Alison Hall
It’s not always easy - far from it in fact but when I take a second to take stock of how far I’ve come since recovering from multiple surgeries in just a few years, I’m really proud of the progress. I told myself I would never take my health and movement for granted and yet sometimes I do. Reminding myself is a practice. If you’re in the thick of it, keep going. One foot in front of the other.

@wildridetravelfam Good for you Alison! 👏 and thanks for the reminder. I’m in the thick of it - just had my final breast reconstruction surgery (expanders removed and implants placed, yahoo!) today after 18 months of my breast cancer journey. i have a long haul to get strong again and reclaim my movement. Thanks for sharing your story. 😘
