@salmajimenexx Instead of changin the whole floor, she could also put a tile detail around the island. Like if it waa a rug but part of the floor, with a buatiful design. I've seen it around social media and it could look beautiful, also cover the gap issue on the floor and way cheaper

@carly_hesp I’d definitely move the cooker…..because my kids are way too lazy with their dirty plates after a meal, so an island with a sink would always look messy! The houses I like the best always have to hob on the island

@earlofalexanderrr Make a banquet in the box window, easily removes the problem of the table. Delete the far door and extend the cabinets into the corner or make a triangular deep pantry. Swap the sink and stove, mess accumulates at the sink and almost never at the stove. And if the kids burn their fingers they’ve learned a lesson so it’s better with the stove facing the lounge room
