GABRIELLE⠀ WILDHEART@gabriellewildheart In my grief portal I haven’t shared much about some exciting professional news: I’ve begun work on what will be one of the largest and most important murals of my career. The Redmond, Oregon airport has commissioned a large art piece from me as part of their new expansion. I’ve been so thankful that this project has given me something beautiful and creative to focus on. What makes this mural special is that I’ll be foraging all the colors directly from the landscape surrounding the airport. Everything I forage will be hand-ground into paint, showcasing the splendor of bioregional color. I’m enjoying being back online with you all, and will keep sharing this process. Currently playing with ideas for the design and preparing to submit the first round of mockups next week.
