Baker... and the cat claims the tent first 🐈⬛⛺ Basecamp below the glacier with @mobigarden.global — and their gear earned every mile of the approach: 🥾 Trekking poles working overtime on the way up (river crossings, rocky trail, all of it) ⛺ Pitched the tent on a ridge with the glacier staring right at us — up and staked before the light went gold 🐈⬛ Cat inspection passed. He moved in immediately. 😴 Sunset from inside our down sleeping bags, mountains in every direction 🌄 Woke up steps from the ice — best backyard I’ve ever had Wild part: these guys have been building tents in the Hengduan mountains for over 20 years and just landed in North America. And it’s not just tents — sleeping pads, sleeping bags, trekking poles, camp chairs... the whole basecamp setup. This camp was the calm before something much bigger.
