#ad Roasted Tomato Soup + Grilled Cheese 🍅🧀 I partnered with Essential Baking to make the ultimate comfort-food combo: homemade roasted tomato soup with an Everything Sourdough grilled cheese. Their Everything Sourdough adds so much flavor to a classic grilled cheese, especially loaded with cheddar + provolone and toasted in butter until golden and crispy. Roasted Tomato Soup 3 lbs tomatoes 1 sweet onion 1 head garlic Olive oil Salt + pepper 2 cups chicken stock Fresh basil ½ cup heavy cream ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan 2 Tbsp tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Roast the tomatoes, onion, and garlic with olive oil, salt, and pepper until soft and caramelized. Blend with the chicken stock, basil, tomato paste, and sugar until smooth. Transfer to a pot and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan. Simmer until warm and creamy, then season to taste. Everything Sourdough Grilled Cheese Essential Baking Everything Sourdough Cheddar cheese Provolone cheese Butter Layer cheddar and provolone between two slices of Everything Sourdough. Butter the outside of both slices and toast in a skillet over medium-low heat until golden brown and crispy on both sides and the cheese is perfectly melted.
