I make sure to take at least one local fall road trip every year 💛 Fall colors here start as early as end of September. I put the most common dates of peak fall foliage here. It varies from year to year though so check out the updates online close to your trip dates: * Yosemite - last week of October * Napa Valley & Sonoma County - 2nd & 3rd weeks of November (later than everywhere else) * Eastern Sierra - 2nd week of October (also depends on the elevation) * Lake Tahoe & Hope Valley - 2nd week of October Also, if you love hot springs, they’re a great addition to any fall trip.
