At Landmark University, Tobi Makinde delivered a thought-provoking session titled “Becoming You,” challenging students to move beyond dreams and develop a clear vision, purpose, and mission for their lives. “A picture is the vision that you have for your life.” According to Tobi, vision and mission are shaped by four powerful sights: Insight: understanding who you are and what you have been called to do. Hindsight: learning from past experiences, victories, and failures. Foresight: seeing opportunities and possibilities ahead. Eyesight: recognising and maximising the opportunities around you today. Purpose begins with clarity. Vision creates direction. Mission drives action. The future is not created by chance; it is built by those who can see beyond where they are and intentionally become who they were designed to be.
