@weispaints NYC’s city planning is based on Philly historically. The Dutch saw what William Penn was doing down here with grids, free public city parks, and wide streets to break the spread of fire. And they copied everything.

@thevaleriereport I love NY so much, so this is a tough one for me 😆 BUT! I used to work in Old City and walked home (Fishtown), and it was nothing. I LIIIVVVEEE for walkability here! ❤️🔥

@the_earth_warrior_ Lived in Philly for 15 years and before that New York for 12 years. NY has the better public transportation giving much easier access to the entire city, but Philly on a nice day you can simply bypass public transportation and walk. Plus Philly block is either a historical learning experiencs or has a well done murals that speaks volumes about the neighborhood.
