@cubanislandgirl305 As a Spañiard, this is something that we have eaten for centuries. We love Pan con Tomate in our homes. I follow you because I love your recipes. But if I may give you some advice; You have incorporated way too much Olive Oil into this delicious delicacy. There should not be Olive Oil in such great amounts in the tomato. And then to also put so much olive oil into the pan, as well. That’s too much olive oil. That makes the slice of bread soggy and it will not be crunchy. And Pan con Tomate needs to be super crunchy for the best results. I hope this does not offend you in any way. Just try it once like that and you’ll see the difference. You’ll have a crunchy slice of Pan con Tomate next time and then you’ll be the judge.😉

@throughthemuckandthemire Had this at a fancy restaurant in Florence Italy but they called it Bruschetta. It was genuinely so amazing to me that I asked their chef for their recipe and this is exactly how they make it. On exception being that they make their own bread.
