Christopher Nolan takes one of the oldest stories ever told and scales it to something that feels almost unreal-stormy oceans, mythic creatures, war-torn landscapes... all grounded with a kind of weight that makes the journey feel painfully human. The trailer that dropped just hours ago doesn’t rush to explain anything it just lets you sit in the chaos, the silence, and the distance between a man and his home. At its core, it’s still Odysseus trying to return after war. But here, it feels less like a heroic tale and more like survival stretched across time, where every step forward costs something. The glimpses of the Cyclops, the fractured timelines, the isolation... it’s spectacle, but never empty. Shot entirely on IMAX film, pushing the format to its full potential with expanded aspect ratios and unmatched image detail. (It’s also among the very few films to be shot entirely using IMAX cameras, a space Nolan himself has been steadily moving toward.) This might be Nolan at his most ambitious. Not just retelling a myth, but making it feel immediate, massive, and strangely personal all at once.
