He actively dismantled the effort for Ukraine to join the EU, and Ukrainians were not happy about this. Several months later, protestors captured this politician, Vitaliy Zhuravskyi. He was in support to criminalize protestors and activism such as the very protest he was confronted with. He was marched and thrown into the trash can by the mob. This incident motivated others around the country, and crooked politicians were treated similarly. It is my opinion that the spirit of this action is necessary, and western countries should pay attention to how the citizens of Ukraine treat politicians that have forgotten who’s in charge. #history #education #reels #viral
