My mom and I went earlier this summer on their summer day pass package, and it was 💯💯💯. We paid $399 which included: - A $300 spa credit - Classes throughout the day (we did a morning stretch class, a 45 minute meditation and a cardio drumming workout - so fun)! You book these beforehand. - A sit down meal in their restaurant, including non-alcoholic beverages. - Grab and go snacks and treats in their cafe. We got smoothies, energy balls, homemade granola, hummus snack trays, salads, etc. We made this work for our breakfast and an early dinner before we went home. It was delicious! The spa service I selected was Sukha, which is one of Miraval’s exclusive spa treatments. It uses gentle Thai techniques where the practitioner wraps and cocoons you in strong silks that ease your limbs into weightlessness, with guided movement that helps you stretch more deeply. They give you loose clothing to wear. It felt amazing and was different than anything I had done before 🙌🏼 The Miraval property itself is gorgeous and designed with relaxation in mind around every corner. There are two pools to unwind at, lots of trails to explore, and and the service was top tier. It would be great for couples, girlfriends or corporate retreats. And they don’t do tipping! So the service price or day pass rate really is the final price. I appreciate this model and wish more businesses would adopt this 👏🏼 Verdict: It’s not a budget experience, but for everything you get I think the value is there! And if you are with good company (like I was with my mom @janetcolborne) not much would beat it 💗 #miravalaustin #hyatt #miraval #austinspa #texasspa
