This is why your 6–8 week touch-up is one of the most important appointments in the entire brow tattoo process. 🤍 A lot can change between your first appointment and your touch-up. Fresh brows always appear bolder, darker and more defined immediately after the treatment. As your skin heals, the colour softens, the crispness relaxes, and you’ll typically be left with a much more natural result. That’s exactly what we’re seeing here -beautiful, soft healed brows after just one session. At your 6–8 week review, I don’t just “go over the brows again.” This appointment is where we: ✔️ Assess how your skin has healed. ✔️ Check pigment retention. ✔️ Discuss whether you’d like to stay soft and natural or add more definition. ✔️ Decide if you’d like to go slightly thicker, bolder, darker, or make any small shape refinements. ✔️ Perfect any areas where the skin may have healed a little lighter. This is the appointment where your brows become your final, customised result. Every person’s skin heals differently. Factors like skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare, medications, and your body’s natural healing response all influence how much pigment is retained after the first session. That’s why one appointment is only the foundation. The touch-up allows us to build on that healed result rather than guessing what your skin will do while you’re still fresh off the needle. It gives us the opportunity to make any adjustments and truly tailor your brows to your preferences once we’ve seen how they’ve healed. The difference between fresh brows and healed brows often surprises clients, it’s always super intense at first but this shows you exactly how much they soften!
