That decision slightly altered the direction of my life, which was already on a similar trajectory... It led me to spend the next 12 years developing the Shade brand – a simple mineral sunscreen made with just four functional ingredients. No fillers. No unnecessary extras. Just what was needed, and nothing that wasn't. It isn't the right sunscreen for everyone.
