@vatanam.iranjan.man Dear Hany Rambod, I apologize for the disrespect that was shown toward you. The years of hard work you put in cannot simply be erased because of a political disagreement. But I want to be completely honest about Hadi Choopan: to me, being a champion is about much more than winning medals. When a champion enters politics and takes positions that, in my view, are close to the government, I can no longer see him as a representative of the Iranian people. Hadi Choopan is, in my view, an extremely corrupt, disgraceful, and government-aligned person, and he is no longer a hero of the people because he did not stand with them. He has become a filthy, blood-soaked opportunist who forgot the blood of Iran’s children shed during the month of Dey. A medal may remain on someone’s chest, but once the people’s trust is lost, no medal can bring it back. Hany, I’m sorry that it took us so long to realize that behind that championship, your years of hard work were also standing there.
