The dark liquid moving around inside the record gives it a really moody look that fits That’s the Spirit perfectly. With only 110 made, it is one of those pressings that feels like a true collector piece the second you pick it up. The album still holds up so well. It has huge hooks, heavy moments, and that darker, more emotional sound BMTH really nailed during this era. “Drown,” “Throne,” “Happy Song,” and “Follow You” all sound just as big as they should. Sound-wise, this pressing is excellent. It is crisp, punchy, and much better than you would expect from a liquid filled vinyl. The vocals are clear, the drums hit hard, and the bigger choruses really fill the room without sounding muddy or flat. And yes, I am crazy enough to actually play it.
