Eliza Joy@elizafalkenrath in my vows to jace, i wrote: “I’ve never felt so loved not only by you, but also by God for knowing me well enough to place you in my life at a time when we have been perfectly shaped and prepared to love each other.“ somehow those words have echoed into every day of our life together. jace is a constant reminder that God is good. He is interested and intertwined into the tiniest of details in our lives as much as He is in the very large ones. including our newest tiny miracle, our baby boy. i’ve felt called to be a mother as long as i can remember so i knew i’d be excited, but nothing prepared me for the joy i felt seeing him on the screen of our ultrasound the first time. tears streamed down my face as jace squeezed my hand while we watched his tiny body wiggle across the screen. pure awe is the only way i think to describe it and i felt something I’d only felt once before, the first time i met jace. like i’d known this person before, maybe even loved him before this. and it made me wonder how God feels watching us all reunite, seeing the faces He loves so much, His masterpieces, light up when we realize we’ve made it just a little closer to heaven, to Him, by finding and reuniting with each other. i don’t how many times i’ll be able to experience that feeling, but i’ll never forget it.
