@connor.makiii I remember this game. Montreal was getting bullshit calls in their favor all night. Makeup call.
@roy_mela @theo.ols Only one ref, linesman, looks at the line. And he sure is not looking for fouls because he can't call them. He looks only if the puck crosses the line before players do. Other linesman does not look there. One ref looks at players without puck and other player with the puck. So no. And from point where the ref whose job it is to look there, it looks like a tripping. You can see him in front of the benches, and Wild player is directly behind Montreal player who skates and stops at the area where player falls down. If there is another ref who clearly sees it is not a penalty, they can correct it, but it is very random that one other ref happens to see what happens in other refs area. Like here.

@sswift1965 Mind over matter. If you watch enough sports you see this all the time. Basketball, football even a foul line in baseball takes players down.
@derik_umina_29 It was probably an angle thing. The ref saw something different through traffic. With that said, there should be an option to review penalties for this exact reason
