MBR Health@mbr_health This patient had all the symptoms of endometriosis, yet multiple scans came back as “normal”. Using our dedicated endometriosis MRI protocol on a 3T scanner, we identified three tiny areas of disease, each measuring only a few millimetres. One lesion was located behind the peritoneum, another in the right tubo-ovarian region, and evidence of adenomyosis was also present within the uterus. These findings may be small, but for a patient who has been searching for answers, they can be life-changing. Endometriosis MRI examinations include specialised high-resolution sequences and Enzian scoring, providing surgeons with a detailed roadmap to help locate and treat disease during surgery. #EndometriosisAwareness #EndometriosisMRI #WomensHealth

@myocardialbridgematters When you say laser it off you mean ablation? That’s not the gold standard for endometriosis surgery and patients should get the endo fully excised.
@terrianne73 Do you have to ask your GP for a direct referral to you? So many radiologist are not trained and miss Endo lesions.

@emoprincess_93 DESPERATE 33 yo mum who’s gotten freaking no where for years. Where are you located in Australia? Because I need more information and some help please. We suspect it’s on my right kidney, in my bowel, bladder, left ovary. But scans aren’t showing anything. It gets to some points I really struggle to keep fighting just because I’m exhausted from what’s now daily agony when it’s nice it’s a 5-7 range but it rarely is nice. It’s usually always sitting at an 8 even with lots of pain meds. Please let me know what steps to take
@ilovemyrandy Wow I’m riddled with endometriosis and wasn’t aware there was a scan available. I’ve had a hysterectomy at 35 but it was discovered I also have it in my stomach and bowels and possibly my brain - I have been suffering almost constant vertigo for nearly 3 years. Is there a full body scan for someone in my situation ? I’m 48

@jacki36 Can u do full body scans for endo ? @mbr_health As my daughter has endo badly and suspect it is attached to many organs .
@endo_ettie This is great! I have diaphragmatic + thoracic endo. Endo lesions in this location can be notoriously difficult to capture via imaging due to the lesions often being extremely thin and respiration causing motion artifacts. But lesions in this area can create diaphragmatic fenestrations which can lead to recurrent pneumothoraces and/or disease progression into thoracic cavity 🙋🏼♀️ Have you had many diaphragmatic endo positively identified through MBR?

@marywallmark Laser it off? Is that not the same as ablation? Isn’t the best thing to do to use excision?
@beverleygillanders Wish all this was out yrs ago . I have had endometriosis on bowel, rectum, had ovarian cysts up to 8 cm (chocolate cysts). I now have a permanent colostomy. So glad treatment & care is improving all the time for women who have endometriosis. Great work.

@rhiannonj83 I’ve been bed bound for years after being told i didn’t have endometriosis. I just got my scan from you, my chronic issues and dhioreah and pain every month could have been dealt with way earlier. How can no one listen for this long !!!!

@norita_hamilton ALL WOMEN SUFFERING FROM ENDOMETRIOSIS HAVE ONE MAJOR THING IN COMMON. THEY ALL HAVE A OVERLOADED SYSTEM OF PARASITES🦠🪱. WATCH IT REVERSE WHEN ONE ADDRESSES THIS BY A SIMPLE METAL AND PARASITE DETOX.
