Caleb is one of the main love interests (the fifth one added) in Love and Deepspace, a popular otome-style mobile game with action, sci-fi, and romance elements involving "Evol" powers, deepspace threats, and emotional storylines Caleb is first introduced early in the main story as the Main Character's (MC's) long-time childhood friend (often described with a protective "big brother" vibe, though they are not blood-related). Both were orphaned during the Chronorift Catastrophe of 2034 and raised together by their adoptive "Grandma" Josephine (a former scientist linked to the mysterious EVER Corporation). He was a constant presence in the MC's lifeβprotective, prankish, and supportiveβbefore an apparent death in an explosion (which also affects Grandma). He returns dramatically in Version 3.0 ("Cosmic Encounter," released January 2025) as a full romanceable love interest in the "Homecoming Wings" / "Vanishing Skyward" storyline arc. Players unlock him as a companion, with new memories, dates, and interactions after progressing through specific episodes (around Episode 3 of the relevant chapter).
