@rainbeaumars my loves Share with your friends who are: SAG I’m glad you’re good!! It seems many actors are still unaware of how significant these issues are. From my understanding, there are two areas that deserve much greater transparency and careful renegotiation: • The proposed changes involving pension and health plan structures. • Meaningful protections regarding the use of A.I., including digital replicas, voice and likeness rights, consent, compensation, and future usage of the actors image and likeness. Most actors I’ve spoken with are not fully aware of the details or the potential long-term implications. These decisions could affect performers for decades, yet many feel the process is moving forward without enough clarity, education, or broad participation from the membership. Whatever position people ultimately take, it is important that actors understand exactly what is being proposed before major decisions are finalized. Informed consent requires transparency, open discussion, and clear communication. If the information I’ve received is accurate, these areas deserve further review and renegotiation so performers can have confidence that their rights, benefits, and future careers are being adequately protected.
