Even the great Three Timbers misses the mark sometimes. On this HOA project we were installing rip rap to catch water coming off the roof scuppers. But we missed the exact locations by a few feet… which meant the water wasn’t draining the way it should. That’s on us. Here’s the good news about landscaping though — almost everything is fixable. Once we saw the issue, we came back out, adjusted the rip rap placement, and made sure the drainage worked the way it was designed to. Mistakes happen in construction. What matters is how you respond. Own it. Fix it. Leave the project better than you found it.
